At our first United Nationalities of Marbella Summit last April one of the main issues was the concern about the quality of the food we eat and the lack of local farmer’s markets.
This is why, more than ever, having expressed such interest, it is up to the community to support the people who then take up on these incentives and actually put them into practice.
This is the case with Roya Jabari, owner of The Farmacy, a holistic hang-out space in the El Capricho shopping centre (just behind the shop Sofass by the copper tower and El Corte Inglés in Marbella – opposite the Senator Spa Hotel).
At the moment the stalls are free to set up to encourage participation and the variety of home made and natural products is wonderful, ranging from fresh olives, nuts, olive oils, fruits, vegetables and so very much more!
True to form, Roya also offers great entertainment and delicious vegan foods to cater to all tastes to ensure that this weekly Farmer’s Market is as enticing as possible, a place where our community feels comfortable to visit, shop and relax and meet like-minded people.
We hope to see you there every Sunday from 11-5 with a special Valentine Market on 12th February – the only day where stalls will cost 10€ to donate to CUDECA, the Costa del Sol’s cancer hospice.
Thank you everyone for supporting each other, because we are undoubtedly #BetterTogether
It is only fair to share...
