Today we hear from Charmaine Arbouin, the British Consulate, with advice on how to be aware of your passport when travelling as it is the one thing we lose more often and the most important item!
More good news is that you no longer need to go anywhere to apply for the emergency document; everything can be done on-line from The Consulate can also offer a courier service to get your emergency passport to you so you don’t have to pick it up either; another cost but for many a better option than having the added burden of going to Malaga.
When you take out a travel insurance please declare any illnesses. All too often traveller’s insurance is declared null and void because they didn’t declare a pre-existing condition, such as diabetes, heart condition, etc. This increases the premium perhaps but if you have to use your insurance you’ll want one that pays out and although the Consulate is there to help, you’ll still need to pay your costs. If you’re in Spain and you need urgent help (for example, you’ve been attacked, arrested or someone has died), call + 34 952 35 23 00.…/organisations/british-consulate-malaga

Wednesday  15.08.18 8pm (repeat 4.15 next day)
If a loved one dies unexpectedly what happens? Charmain explains next. It can be a very lengthy process if no one accepts responsibility for the body.

Thursday  16.08.18 8pm (repeat 4.15 next day)

Today’s program is a MUST WATCH
#Brexit – what has changed since last year and what do we know now?
Listen in very carefully as Charmaine Arbouin, British Consul Malaga, covers this topic in detail.

Friday  17.08.18 8pm (repeat 4.15 next day)

Another fact-filled, super important program for the Marbella community in general. Marisa Moreno Castillo (Danish Consul Malaga) and Charmaine Arbouin (Britsh Consul Malaga) discuss with Nicole the challenges faced by the older generation as expats with little or no family to turn to.
